Sensory Chew Necklace | Whale

This whale sensory chew necklace is a lovely tool for calming and soothing oral sensory seekers who like something safe and flexible to chew.  The reverse side of the whale is textured for added sensory stimulation.

The round edges of this shape make it easy for the wearer to work it to the back of the mouth between the molars for maximum vestibular stimulation and the calming effect that it can bring.

We have paired this piece with a breakaway clasp and strung it on a soft cord.  The breakaway clasp improves safety by breaking open when large force is applied to it and the cord offers a soft non scratchy finish which will not irritate the wearer’s skin.

The whale is 90 mm long x 55 mm wide at its widest, and is 10 mm at its thickest point.  

NB: Heavy chewers will bite through narrow parts of the shape quickly.
