Bob and Nancy are two American tourists, who love travelling and doing jigsaw puzzles! Bob is a well-off, retired computer programmer. He likes doing jigsaw puzzles more than travelling, but his wife Nancy always succeeds in persuading him to pack his suitcase and visit yet another city of the world. That's why you can find both of them on all the puzzles of the Cities of the World series. They travel together with the artist Fleroux, but that doesn't always work out so well for them.

Because in every city they travel to, they are confronted with unexpected situations. And what exactly do they experience on their trips? In order to find that out, you first have to put the jigsaw puzzle together correctly. Only then can you actually see that the situation shown on the packaging has a funny outcome in the puzzle.

On the Grand Canal, under the famous Rialto Bridge in Venice, the annual boat festival Regata Storica takes place every first Sunday in September, with richly decorated historic ships. But on this Fleroux puzzle, of course, it runs completely in the soup. Because from one of the many side channels, a load boat steams up the Grand Canal at full speed, whereby (intentionally?) A police boat is rammed that was just on its way to thwart an escape from the beautiful mafiosi from the Palazzo Civran, where the police station of the Guardia di Finanza is located. And that triggers a chain of events that you can already discover mysteriously. Even our regular guests Bob and Nancy must believe in it again.
