What a pretty mule! It has brown fur, which becomes lighter and lighter on the belly, and black legs. The short, thick mane is also black. Its long ears are a giveaway: You can tell immediately from them that its father was a donkey. But it inherited its long legs from its mother horse. What a beautiful animal!

The pretty mule waits good-naturedly in the yard for its turn. It likes to help its favourite people – for example when carrying heavy loads or pulling a cart. After all, it’s very strong and can work hard for long periods. That’s why it doesn’t mind the effort. I wonder what jobs it has to do today? No matter what it is, one thing is for sure: A crunchy carrot will be waiting as a treat. Delicious!
